"Mission: Impossible"VR experience will be launched in VR offline experience store in 2019
"Mission Impossible" is a popular series of movies by Paramount Pictures of the United States.At the GDC conference in 2017, VR game "VRG Record: Lost Soul" developer VRWerx announced that it is building a new VR experience based on the "Mission Impossible" series. Recently, offline entertainment company Nomadic confirmed that they have also participated in the project.
With the addition of Nomadic, the two companies will jointly develop a location-based multiplayer interactive VR game that will utilize Nomadic's wireless system.As for standard games, VRWerx has been developing for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PSVR, while the location-based version is expected to match the home version.Doug Griffin, founder and CEO of Nomadic, said: "We are delighted to be working with VRWerx and Paramount Pictures to bring the popular "Mission: Impossible" series to a new form of entertainment."
At present, the details about the gameplay have not been announced yet. We only know that, like Ghost Recording, the Mission Impossible VR is completely adapted from the movie story.Users will be able to experience the legendary movie series in ways never before possible.So, you might play as an IMF agent (like the role of Tom Cruise in the movie, Ethan Hunter), through the gameplay of strategy and action, to complete an impossible task.

It is understood that the "Mission Impossible" VR experience will be unveiled in Orlando in the spring of 2019, while Nomadic's first project "Arizona Sunshine: Contagion Z" will also be unveiled.
